Outreach Rehabilitation Activities:
This Institution has been providing Composite Rehabilitation Services in far flung areas & border areas by conducting Rehabilitation camps in these areas. This institution has conducted 250 number of outreach camps so far and has distributed 30000 number of aids & appliances like Tri-cycle, Wheel-chairs, Auxiliary-crutch, Elbow-crutch, Prosthesis & Orthosis, Walking sticks, Hearing Aids, Long Canes etc under the ADIP scheme of the Ministry during these outreach camps.
Short term Awareness Programmes:
Composite Regional Centre, Srinagar has been conducting Short Term Awareness / Orientation Programmes in Collaboration with various Government Departments and with reputed NGO’s etc aiming at to create general awareness in the field of disability rehabilitation in the general public.
Apart, this institution has so far provided rehabilitation services to more than 4 lakh beneficiaries at the Institution and more than 55,000 beneficiaries through outreach camps and has also distributed. Besides these comprehensive rehabilitation services this institution has passed out more than 625 professionals (students) and at present more than 190 students are pursuing various rehabilitation courses at this Institution.
